Well it hqlf works in the preview screen, it will get you to the album. If you cut and paste the whole thing it will take you to the first pic.

i don' like the format -as far as discussing topics
it's just mainly for finding people you couldn't have found any other way
but i've searched for most people who are findable

and as far as discussing things with people
i was used to true discussion forums
before i came to this spaceface/mybook shit
i resisted it for years
there- when people post on their "walls" (public profile pages)
they don't really want to discuss the subject
they are just saying THIS IS WHAT I THINK SO DON'T DARE DISAGREE
WITH ME ON MY OWN FUCKING PAGE HERE YOUSE JOIKS!
ANY OF YOUSE JOIKS!


it's not exactly conducive to deep thoughtful conversation or
"intellectual discussion" or anything very interesting

if you wanna just AGREE with the person who owns the page
by tossing in a tiny one-line ass-kissing/type comment,
that seems to be the only thing acceptable

otherwise yer like the guy at the party who brings up politics or religion

Yeah there's a total of 2 old girlfriends I wanna look up on
FaceCrook but every time I feel nearly tempted to join
to do the search OUT comes another news story about how
FaceCrook invades privacy and sells yer personal info to
various ner'do-wells for profit.

How do you post pix, assuming I can find them in photobucket?

You can post any pics that are hosted at a website that allows it.

Photobucket is a free photo host and you just follow instructions
there to upload your images from your hard drive or elsewhere to your own photo album.
From that point you copy the url address of your pic by highlighting
it from where photobucket conveiniently posts it for you
beneath your image and right click copy. (The address
will now be saved on your computer's clipboard.)
Open another tab if you have tabbed browsing and navigate to
this site and when you go to post a photo you click the Img box
and you will see [img] on screen. Then you right click paste and the
url of the photo you want to post will appear on screen after [img]

will kinda look like this: [img]http//www.nakedpicsofmygreat
grandparentsinworldwar1orsomerandomshit.com And then
all you have to do is click the Img button again and
this symbol: [/img] will appear behind that picture address.


So it's gonna look like:

[img]htttp//www.whateverthehelladdress.com[/img]

Use the Preview Post button to see if your image is going to appear.

If u hosted it and copied its url from photobucket right it will post.
So will about half of the pictures you find elsewhere on the net.
To post those photos without uploading and rehosting them right
click on your intended target photo and choose properties. A little
box will pop up and give you information about this image including
its address. In the address field you must drag the cursor to highlight
the url address. It may often be several lines long so be sure to
get it all. Then right click save and the address will go to the computers
clipboard.

Tab over or open a new window to this forum and in your post hit
that [img] and immediately follow it with right click paste and close
that url with the Img button again to get the [/img] symbol.

Then preview your post to see if it can be linked to. If yes, it should
appear. If not you may see a very little red x on a white background
that indicates you cant link directly. In which case you might want to
save the image to your hardrive and then upload it to your photobucket
account where you already know you can link from.

Anyway it all sounds much harder than it is.
But if you wouldn't rather bother just now learning
that stuff above or if it's just much easier you can email some
pics to me. I'm pretty sure DW will be happy to email you my
hotmail address. I don't wanna post it to the board but I'm fine
with you having it. I'd like to see your ship. I could look it up
on Google images anytime but I'd rather see the ones you took.
